Homepage   FRIENDS OF EMSWORTH WILDLIFE This is a new community organisation with the general aim of encouraging the observation, recording and protection of the wildlife of Emsworth and the surrounding area, ie "bringing people closer to nature". The aims of the group are: 1. To promote interest in wildlife among the residents of Emsworth 2. To encourage local people to observe and record wildlife in the area 3. To provide a web site for recording local wildlife on a daily basis 4. To encourage local school children to make wildlife observations 5. To promote interest in other local conservation groups 6. To protect and, wherever possible, enhance the wildlife of Emsworth 7. To produce reports for local publications (e.g. The Ems) 8. To produce a regular e-mail newsletters 9. To produce a map of the main wildlife habitats in the area 10. To organise walks and talks on local wildlife
